From 25th June to 1st September 2026, the Government has introduced a temporary reduction in VAT from 20% to 5% on admission to qualifying family attractions.

We’re pleased to pass this saving on to our customers at Mini Kingdom Soft Play.

What Is Included?

The VAT reduction applies to:

Online Pre-Booked Children’s Admission Tickets

Under 2s Tickets
2–10 Year Old Tickets
Sibling Tickets (where applicable)

What Is Not Included?

The following are excluded from this promotion:

Adult admission tickets
Memberships
Gift vouchers
Parties and private hire
Special events

Adult tickets will remain at their normal price.

How Do I Get The Discount?

Use discount code:

VAT5

Simply enter the code during online checkout before completing your booking.

The discount will automatically be applied to eligible children’s tickets in your booking.

Discount Code Rules

The code will be available from 24th June 2026.
The discount applies to the visit date, not the booking date.
Visits must take place between 25th June and 1st September 2026.
The code can only be used for online bookings made through our website.
The discount cannot be added after a booking has been completed.
The code applies only to eligible children’s admission tickets.
Adult tickets remain at their normal price.

Why Is The Discount Available Online Only?

As a small independent business, applying a temporary VAT reduction across every sales channel would involve significant administration and system changes.

Our online booking system allows us to correctly identify eligible admissions and apply the reduction in line with the scheme requirements.

Why Use A Discount Code?

The VAT reduction is only temporary and applies for a limited period.

Using a discount code allows us to:

Apply the discount only to qualifying visits.
Ensure only eligible bookings receive the saving.
Avoid changing prices across multiple systems and printed materials for a short-term promotion.

How Much Will I Save?

Although VAT is being reduced from 20% to 5%, this does not result in a 15% reduction in the final ticket price.

The actual saving passed on to customers is approximately 12.5% off the current children’s ticket price.

We are passing this saving directly on to eligible children’s tickets booked online using the VAT5 discount code.
